Tijdens de ALV was er speciale aandacht voor het onderwerp ‘sociale veiligheid’. Verschillende experts geven aan dat het belangrijk is om het onderwerp sociale veiligheid actief te bespreken om onveiligheid te voorkomen. Zo ook op een vereniging als de onze. De vertrouwenspersoon (Karen) heeft met hulp van de jeugdcommissie en Rotterdam Sportsupport een vragenlijst opgesteld over sociale veiligheid op de vereniging: hoe fijn voel je je op de verenging?
Deze enquête is al eerder verstuurd, maar tijdens de ALV bleek dat niet iedereen deze enquête heeft ontvangen of gezien. Vul de enquête alsjeblieft in: de enquête is via deze link te bereiken! Aangezien dit een belangrijk onderwerp is, is er voor de internationale leden een Engelstalige versie van de enquête gemaakt (zie hieronder).
Mocht je contact op willen nemen met de vertrouwenspersoon, dan kan je Karen bereiken via haar pagina Vertrouwenspersoon of de visitekaartjes op de vereniging. Een gesprek met Karen mag over ieder onderwerp, het hoeft niet over een ‘serieus’ onderwerp of een incidentmelding te gaan.
During the ALV (members’ meeting) the topic of ‘social safety’ was discussed in detail, because it became clear that the feeling of unsafety is not unthinkable in the context of sport clubs and work environments. The Dutch news outlets reported on incidents at the football club Ajax and the TV show The Voice of Holland. It has been reported that to counter unsafe environments, the topic of ‘social safety’ should be actively addressed. At our club as well. The confidential advisor for cases of unsafe/unwanted behaviour at the rowing club (or shorter: ‘confidant’), Karen, with the help of the youth commission and Rotterdam Sportsupport, has prepared a survey on the current state of ‘social safety’ at the club. We have also created an English version, as it might be easier to answer this version for our international members.
The survey has been sent earlier, but it became clear that not everyone has recieved or seen the link. A conversation with Karen can be about any topic, it is not limited to ‘serious’ topics or incident notifications.
